1991 honda civic hatchback si manual is burning a lot of oil?
I noticed that its burning oil , not all the time once in a while I noticed a dark cloud coming from the exhaust, I checked the head seals, oil pan gasket, dristrubuetor and I did not see any oil leak, I have to to add 5 quarter s every month, anybody out there , pplease help

How many miles on engine? Between 200k and 300k miles honda engines seem to go downhill. If your in that mileage or beyond you need to be preparing for engine rebuild or a used engine from Japan.

Your rings might be toast. So yeah, buy a newer used vehicle and play the guessing game of what's going to break in THAT vehicle. Or rebuild that one and keep it for another 10+ years. So yeap, $300 to rebuild for a 10+ year vehicle or 2-3k for a vehicle that will last a couple years?
