I have cable and Roku.
I'm experimenting right now with potentially cutting the cable cord.
I don't watch much TV actually...but I enjoy a good movie and basketball game now and then.

Cut the cord last year, and love it. Saving over $80 a month by canceling Directv for Netflix.
Best thing about Netflix - no commercials, ever!
Plus being able to watch what you want, when you want, including binge watching an entire season of Lost, Alias, Bones, or whatever your favorite TV show is.
One caveat is sports - what I can watch locallly on my antenna is limited if you're a sports fan and used to seeing every game for every sport. I'm not, so I don't miss it.
