Is there any peer reviewed studies that give odds of human extinction being caused by gw emissions?

I accept the climate change caused by humans might be real and might lead to species extinction and some economic turmoil. However that does not concern me. What concerns me is human extinction. So what are the odds that climate change will cause it? Credible peer reviewed studies only please. No Fox news (right wing nuts) or MSNBC (left wing nuts).

I'm not aware of any, but rational analysis suggests that human *extinction* is unlikely. We're in for some bad times, but I consider it highly unlikely that those bad times will kill all ~7 billion of us.

Humans are adaptable. Even without modern technology, we've lived in places as diverse as the Sahara and the Arctic. With modern technology, there are even people living in space and on Antarctica (which is colder than the Arctic). I have trouble imagining an event (other than maybe an engineered super-plague) that could kill *all* of us any time even remotely soon without actually rendering the entire planet uninhabitable.

    I'm sure their are.

Quote by Sir John Houghton, pompous lead editor of first three IPCC reports: “If we want a good environmental policy in the future we’ll have to have a disaster.”

So if there isn't a disaster, just dream one up and make it official by a bunch of paid off peer reviewers. That way they can take your money and subject you to tyrannical laws.

Quote from the UN's Own "Agenda 21": "Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound reorientation of all human society, unlike anything the world has ever experienced a major shift in the priorities of both governments and individuals and an unprecedented redeployment of human and financial resources. This shift will demand that a concern for the environmental consequences of every human action be integrated into individual and collective decision-making at every level."
