Is Parasitology the same as Microbiology?

What is the difference between the two? I'm leaning towards more of Microbiology.

No, Parasitology and Microbiology are not same.

Microbiology is the science concerned with the study of all forms of life too small to be seen by the naked eye. This includes viruses, bacteria, fungi & protozoa. All aspects of the biology of such organisms are included so that microbiology encompasses elements of many areas of biological science including cell biology, biochemistry, genetics, physiology, taxonomy, diagnosis, pathology, epidemiology, & ecology. Socio-economic & commercial aspects are also covered.

Parasitology is the study of organisms that live in or on other organisms causing them some degree of harm. The definition of what is a parasite has been the subject of much debate & discussion. The parasitology units aim to provide an appreciation of parasites of medical & veterinary importance & include studies of protozoan (unicellular) parasites, helminth parasites (flukes, tapeworms & roundworms) & arthropods either as parasites in their own right (eg fleas, lice) or as vectors of parasitic diseases (eg mosquitoes)

One study's parasites (worms, flukes, lice...) the other study's cells and cell organells.
