Do liberals understand how stupid the "lax guns laws in other states" excuse really is?

Liberals don't do well with things that require actual proof instead of what makes them feel good to believe.

There are reasons why Chicago and Detroit have the highest gun crimes.

However, the ability for someone to acquire a weapon through a more lax state does make it easier for the "evil doers" to get guns.

So, it's not an excuse. It's a fact.

And, yes, so is the fact that gun crime is high in Chicago and Detroit.

These two things are not mutually exclusive.

Not to mention that should the lax gun laws in other states be tightened to prevent any sale to out of town buyers...they would get them illegally on the black market, in Mexico or south America or somewhere else in the world that has lax gun laws or no laws. They can't blame crime in Chicago on gun laws in Texas.

It is about time to understand why the high crime rate exists in these places

Gun crime requires two components: a gun and a person willing to use it to shoot people. The places with lax gun laws provide the guns and the ghettoes provide lots of people who are willing to use them to kill people.

Cities like Chicago and Detroit have the highest number of guns per capita, not the lowest.

That's why they have more crime.

If they are difficult to buy there then it follows that they are buying them somewhere else.

Given that you guys have touted the "guns for all" mantra for years, is it really surprising that it will take years to resolve?

Do fat people eat lettuce for a week and declare that eating healthy is a scam because they are still fat after a week?

Can you see that or are you that far gone?

Chicago is thee murder capital of the USA and has total gun ban. FACT

followed by detriot, NY, New Orleans ,and Washington Dc...all have gun bans .FACT

that's not really how it works... different areas have different problems that lead to gun violence... rural Michigan isn't the same as Detroit in many ways...
