LG 840 phone keeps going to "leave message"?
I feel my phone vibrate and I have a message from a caller. My phone never rang.
I called my number...it doesn't ring and goes straight to "leave a message for"
I can check the ringer by pressing the volume rocker on the side..
Hit set
Then a call will ring through when I try it.
Later it happens again. any help please.

You have somehow changed the setting to SEND ALL calls to voice mail
The VM service then notifies you you have a NEW voice mail
In order to correct that you have to cancel all CALL FORWARDS [AKA DIVERTS]

U R on CDMA network, I R the UK is GSM] so don't know the CDMA commands
Secondly in the UK the VM number dialled is different to your own number your handset as it has YOUR number coded then selects ONLY your VM messages
You calling your own number is YOU stalking yourself (so stop it ) and leaving or NOT messages for yourself
My point is you need the VM number as you WON'T be able to listen to the messages left
