I Need help with a diagnosis?
On a 2007 Toyota Yaris the rear window defroster does not work as well as it used to. It used to take less than 5 minutes to defrost, now at least 20 minutes. The first 5 minutes does not even seem like it is heating up. Has anyone had a similar problem and what was the cause? How would you go about diagnosing the problem?

When was the last time your cooling system was drained, flushed and CLEANED with one part powered acid cooling system cleaner. I'll bet you need a new heater control valve IF the temperature gauge in the dash is reading normally. If the dash gauge is reading lower than usual, you need a new thermostat from a Toyota Dealer
