Leasing a Scion FR-S?

So, I asked the question the other day about what a nice sports car under 25K preferably would be. I've been looking at the Scion FR-S, and it's about 27K. I was looking at a lease, but I've been told leasing is a bad idea. I was just wondering if buying would be better than leasing, and what the specific terms are to a lease as well.

Leases are a bad idea because you shell out all this money and at the end if you go over on the miles you have a big fee to pay. But if you turn it in with low miles you don't get anything back. Also at the end of the lease you turn over the car and have nothing to show for the payments. Check with a Bank or Credit Union and see if you qualify for a loan and if so how much can you borrow towards a car. You need to have a good paying full time job with money to put towards a down payment and a good credit rating.
