Legality of Spring-Assisted Knives in WA?

I know this has been asked before, but law clarification changed in 2012.

Are switchblades illegal to own in WA or are they just illegal to carry?

I want to buy one just to fiddle around with, not to carry, so if I order one online, will it go through and/or is it illegal?

And also, the law says that "any spring blade knives" are illegal but for some reason spring assisted knives are legal but why is that so?

    If you keep it in your house there's no problem. They're sold aren't they? Never carry it in your car or on your person.
