What is the pins and needles feeling I get in my shins when I bend my legs?

A little history, I have had knee and hip problems all my life and recently I have been noticing that when I bend my legs (i.e. sit crisscross) the lower half of my leg (from the knee down to my foot) gets this pins and needles feeling. I don't know whether it has anything to do with the fact that I have had problems in the past with my knees and hips, but if someone could explain to me why this is happening, or at least why you think this is happening, that would be amazing!

Thank you all!

When you bend your legs or cross your legs you are restricting the flow of blood , this is what causes pins and needles................
