My iPad mini battery slowly drains while OFF (like 6%-10%) Is this normal?
It is completely shutoff NOT asleep. Generally loses this over a 8-12 hour period

It does tend to drain by a couple of percentages while off over a period of time, but it shouldn't be that much. Also, the longer you've had any device the less battery capacity it maintains. So it is very possible that this could be happening due to increased use and if you don't ever really take it off the charger. Each battery can only go a certain amount of cycles, and once it nears the end of that limit, its capacity goes waaayyy down. My iPhone 4S would do the same thing
