Wire house to handle different types of electricity?
I was thinking about making a shipping container home to take all over the world with me. Would it be possible to wire it so that it can work with all the different forms of electricity in different countries? Maybe have some sort of adapter that takes the outside wire/current and adapts it for the wires inside the house?

Not a problem. Just install a transformer so the voltage can be adjusted for the voltage your devices require. North America uses 120/240 volts at 60 Hz. Most of the rest of the world is 220 at 50 Hz and the voltage change is the main issue for most equipment except motors which will run at a different speed. Get an experienced professional electrician to do the work and a good electrical engineer to design it.

Yes, consider the fact that large BOATS sail to all sorts of different countries, and RVs drive to other countries, and often hook up to the local electrical systems. It's not that difficult and should only need a few different types of adapters, since a local electrician is probably going to hook you up anyway.

There is only two types of electricity, AC, normal for a house. And DC. For DC you would need a battery charger set up. Then you would have to put in a separate wiring for the DC set up in your house. A lot of AC gadgets in a house will not work on DC.
