How much will this cost?
My catalytic converter is dead I need to replace it. I want to install a magnaflow cat in its place. How much would something like this cost if I took it to mufflerman or somewhere like that to get it done? Just the cat nothing else.
I checked the cat and the parts in it are now broken up and it makes a rattling sound whenever exhausts are running through it.

Did you fix the problem that killed the first cat? If not, you'll just burn out the new one.
And are we supposed to guess the year, make, model, and engine or did you just want a ballpark figure for the chanegout? If so, the figure is $50 to $250.
