Will Carlos Beltran finally get his World Series ring with the Yankees, or will it be more heartbreak?

I like Carlos and he is as clutch a postseason player as there is in the game today... Like Ichiro, I'd love to see him get a Ring to cap off a wonderful career...
Unfortunately, at this point in his career I think Beltran is best suited to be a veteran presence on a young, hungry team rather than one of the "youngsters" on an aging team of mercenaries. I sense "heartbreak."

Heartbreak. As of this writing, the Yankees need a lot more pitching than they have right now. I don't think a rotation being anchored by Hideki Kuroda and a broken down CC Sabathia is going to win a lot of championships. No matter how much money they threw at their lineup.

The Yankees have plenty of offense. It all depends on the starting pitching. Sabathia must bounce back big and the Yankees must sign Tanaka.

I'm still trying to figure out the Yankees off season plan. They had outfielders, yet they went out and got more outfielders. In the meantime they lost their 2Bman and 3Bman and have no replacements for them. Right now I'm not expecting much from them in 2014.

He will help for sure. if they remake the playoffs he will provide an asset the team never had which is clutch hitting and his great postseason performance will help. Now that A-rod is suspended a season they will make it because he did nothing to help the team win.

Nothing is guaranteed, and they, for one, are not a lock, they could conceivably finish 5th in the AL East.
