Any tips on how to search for a person who has a famous name?
I am trying to search for an old friend, but unfortunately he has the same name as a leading fashion designer. No matter now many times or how many ways I try to exclude him from my search, he is all I get.

use google with the minus sign for thing you don't want
use his full name or versions of it in quotes
"Giorgio xavier armani"
"Giorgio armani" -fashion -designer - handbag - shoes - suits (don't add them all at once, try variations)
add in the name of his workplace, school etc.
Giorgio armani "grange hill school"
You can also try Linkedin, it's a sort of social network for working people
