Lord of Rings/Hobbit Question?

In Lotr I remember Frodo acting weird and like moving slower and all that, and becoming posed in a way and always tired. though when Bilbo had it and way way way longer, that didn't happen to him? he lived a long youthful life, and none of that happen and he had it way long then Frodo, and he not acting crazy and slow...

While Bilbo owned it for a long time, he didn't wear it all the time. And also, in The Hobbit, the Ring wasn't written as the One Ring yet....it just wasn't yet the Ring it would become in LOTR.

I've always passed the difference in LOTR off as the fact that Sauron is now back in Mordor, and is gaining power beyond what he had at the time of The Hobbit....and was putting a lot of that power into attracting and drawing the One back to himself. He didn't know the Ring had been found until Smeagollum, searching for Bilbo wandered the wrong way and ended up in Mordor, was taken captive and tortured personally by Sauron, and told him that HE had had the Ring for centuries. Once Sauron knew the Ring was no longer lost but KEPT by someone, he ramped it all up big time. The effects of the Ring on Frodo were amplified as the Ring (which was imbued with MUCH of Sauron's original power) was as much as was possible, trying to get back to Sauron. It was programmed for this. And it's effects being more powerful, which got stronger the closer it got to Mordor....wore poor Frodo out.

One thing I'm thinking of is that Bilbo had it but he didn't wear it much.

The other thing is that Frodo was acting weirdly and moving slower as he (or better to say the ring) was getting closer to the eye of Sauron and Mordor. The pressure was getting higher as he was getting closer to the place which this ring came from. I don't think Bilbo was in such a situation.

I always wondered that too, but my guess is that Sauron's power was very strong at that time but not as much with Bilbo... yeah I really don't know.
