What do you think of Vladimir Putin telling gay visitors to the Olympics to stay away from the children?

I thought it was weird saw that interview he said he is lifting the russia ban on homosexuality and pedophila like those are related. wtf.

I think it shows Putin is confused (as is Russia) that being homosexual somehow translates into pedophilia and that such ignorance is beyond ignorance.

What I do find interesting in this Country full of homophobia is that it is the largest Country in the world (land mass) and majority is atheistic. That sort of destroys the daily claims on here that religions are the homophobic ones! (tongue-in-cheek....reality is that disagreement with something isn't the same as phobia and everyone is an individual, but the point is still valid to the silliness of such blanket claims.)

It's Putin, for crying out loud. He ordered the hit on ex-Russian spy Alexander Llitvinenko in 2006. He's never been a "Care Bear." He's willing to kill, I don't know why people are so shocked at this

I have no thoughts other than he is the ruler of his own country, and America or other more leniently ruled countries should not impose their ideologies and laws on other countries, no matter how much you disagree with them. They have to go through their own growing phase or they will not feel autonomous.

I agree. Your sex life is your privilege and exclusive right. Children should not be used to advance an agenda for the homosexual community.
