why do I suck so much at drawing anime heads?
I just can't seem to get where the cheeks are and understand the proportion of it. When I try to draw it, it just comes out as a mushed head and when I try to draw it longer it looks too stretched out. What should I do?
no sorry I can't upload a picture and your video is good but I question the background music

could you upload an example? Best thing to do is practice practice practice. Look at how others do it on youtube and stuff like that.

Best way to draw anime heads is to start out a sketch. If you don't start out a sketch that the problem it could end up that you explained. First lightly draw a circle. Like a perfect circle. Next draw the cheeks. Before you do that. You need to chose where is the person looking at. I perfer one cheek a bit longer then the other one. Just like 2 cm's longer. Then lightly go to the chin. Don't make it to pointy Or eles it look like some stalker. And once you get used to this for a month. Try to change the shape! Here how I first learned how to draw heads :). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFLgr6gyOOc

When i had trouble first drawing, it always helped me to look at other ppl stuff online. Ya know for like guide and stuff. Draw that stuff over again, then incorporate into your own style. Then u can draw your own stuff better looking. Lol I'm still not that good but I'm getting better tho...
