I have a 3GB data plan, and even without me using the internet and on my phone it says 2.7GB used, it sends me a message saying I went over. How can I help fix this? I can't seem to not use it so don't just say stop using it or get a new plan. No other options

It's possibly from apps that you have on your phone that require an internet connection of some sort. They can use up data even when running in the background.
