Will the Reagan Republicans and Goldwater Republicans ever reconcile?

In time to challenge the next Democratic incumbent.

Your words not mine, I am just making sense of the rhetoric that is out there. I could easily have put it like this

Will the Tea Party fanatics and GOP Rino's take on the liberal marxist Democrats?

Either way the question is valid. A split in the Republican party that pits Libertarians against Oligarchs. Is an alliance on the table or not.

No chance. The problem is not the old GOP. In fact many of the old GOP have left the party and are calling themselves "independents" which means they can't yet bring themselves to say "I'm a DEM" but they will vote that way in the end. The problem is the ultra-right, modern Birchers (Tea Party). They represent about 20% which is small enough to never get elected but large enough to completely disrupt the GOP. The GOP needs to purge the Birchers while they still can but the fact is it may be too late already.

Most of the Goldwater and Reagan Republicans are dead and gone. Today the party is divided by the libertarians, the tea party, the conservatives and what's left of the moderates. this will be the worst election for the GOP since 1912.

Reagan came to political power as a result of his 1964 speech in favor of Goldwater's candidacy. Their politics were essentially the same. Your question makes no sense.

All conservatives have more in common, tun not. They are racists, bigots, and they're full of hatred.
