Is your computer running Windows?
How do you want to connect to your PS4 - Ethernet or WiFi?
Does your computer already have this interface available? If not, then you should probably choose WiFi as it should be easier to find a suitable USB WiFi adapter, but make sure that the PS4 will work with an Ad Hoc WiFi network.
In the Network Connections on the computer, open the properties for the USB network adapter. On the Advanced tab, there should be a tick box to allow the computer to share its Internet connection. Once this is set up, and the computer has been rebooted, you should be able to connect the PS4 to your computer. If you are using an Ethernet connection between the PS4 and the computer, you will need a cross-over Ethernet cable.
I hope this helps.

I think Lucky missed the point. It sounds, from the question, as though the question relates to the use of a broadband modem that connects by USB without any router and without any Ethernet ports. The use of Powerline adapters is not appropriate if there are no Ethernet ports to connect to.
There could be an Ethernet connection between the computer and the PS4, which could be using a cross-over Ethernet cable as Richard suggested, or it could make use of Lucky's suggestion of Powerline adapters to replace the cross-over Ethernet cable. However, unless the distance between the computer and the PS4 is large, the Powerline approach might be an expensive way of connecting the two.

get a d-link Powerline AV 500 Mini adapter
it uses your electrical wiring to send the connection.
you just need to plug one into your router and then one into the wall by your console, then plug the network wire into the console and it should work
Here's a link for the adapter (you should get this one because it has 2 one for by your router and one for by your console)
