why oh why are those female news anchors not dressed warm!!?

im so puzzled as to why on the today show for example, they have to be outside on a freezing cold day,

and all the guys are dressed in pants coats scarves gloves hats, and here we have our female anchor, in a dress coat, no hat, no scarf, tights, not pants, and goves with no fingers!!

what the hay?

for one thing WHY are they outside? two why do the women NEVER wear warm pants???

why arent they allowed to wear pants?

know a female anchor? ask her and get back to me!!

Update:

ok, wouldnt men have thicker skin since they were the hunter gatherers? and work harder?

ill never understand how a dress or skirt that shows your legs is more 'wholesome' than pants,

which actually men should wear skirts, because pants squash mens unmentionables between thier legs in a seam.

sexist yes, but are there no female corporate bosses who make these choices?

or is it that women enjoy flaunting themselves for 'male' ratings?

dumb, Id never be cold on purpose to play into that mindset.

Although they are as skilled or more skilled than their male counterparts in broadcasting, unfortunately part of their job is to provide sex appeal and wholesomeness. If they cover up their bodies and hair some higher-up thinks the show will lose ratings. This is obviously sexist, but I believe it's true. Did you ever notice that the woman on Today has pink papers while the papers for the male are blue? How cute.
