Actually, it depends on his work ethic during every offseason. If Richard Sherman works hard and performs very well in practice every day, he will greatly improve his chances of becoming an elite NFL cornerback in the future.

I think he's a smart, articulate Stanford grad--the best at his position in the NFL--who got caught in a very highly adrenalized moment and did some trash talking as if the game were still going on. No biggie.
