should i feel guilty?

Ive seen this girl a bunch of times at my apartments, and shed always visit my neighbor, a older guy. I thought she was really cute, and later we had a conversation when she borrowed a pen. Im a tattoo artist, and have a tattoo in design with a relative of hers. Anyways i came home from school today to find her looking for me, and my heart skipped a beat. So i tattooed a name on her wrist, come to find out its her sons name. Shes 19, her son is 2. I also found out shes engaged.. So that through red light. I told her i thought she was cute, we talked for awhile.. Then she left said shed be back and nothin. I think i scared her away and if i did i didnt mean anything by it. Was i in wrong? I wasnt hitting on her we were jus talking.. Ps i already feel guilty..
