Should I become an independent dancer?

I will Be moving back home this summer (Two years ago I moved somewhere up north I'm not allowed to give location sorry)So that means I need to look for a new dance studio the problem is that area is not really good and would be too easy and have me slacking. But their is one studio that is really good and is at my level and would be some challenging too but the the problem is that it is too expensive especially while we are moving will be hard because moving will cost.It will take my family about a year to recover.I was thinking while that year of recovery I would become a independent dancer for one year.At the same time attend a rhythmic gym for improving my flexibility and a cheer to work on my tumbling also attend a basic local ballet studio to still take my ballet technique and pointe classes. My concern is at I won't have a teacher to correct me before comp but I'll find a way anyways I hope.Aldo I would self choreograph to challenge myself and get corrections from the judges about choreo too. Also while I'm comp I will get see more variety of studios and see which will be best for me next year.Is it a good idea to become a independent dancer for one year or should I attend a studio/comp team that is easier than my level?????Please help I'm so unsure
