Is Too late for me to cheer?

I'm 16 years old and I'm a sophomore I'm soon moving and I found out the area I'm moving to has a cheer gym that won worlds or have been there so that just means that they're really goid so that's a good sign.My goal is to at least make it to level four is it possible to make level 4 or 5 once I'm a senior (18 yrs) Im a dancer so I have all three of my splits (right, left, middle)I can also do all three of my splits in the air perfectly. Also I'm naturally flexible I have a perfectly straight scorpion/needle I also have a excellent scale. What I REALLY need to work on us my tumbling sure I can do real basic like back bends going down and up,round off, cartwheel, one hand cartwheel, currently working on aerial,I got both front and back walkover. So I need to work REALLY hard on tumbling I'm just not sure if I will have what it takes by then I mean all senior levels have back tuck, layouts, twists, and BHS are just basic to them ,also let alone learning the positions if the pyrmaids like backspot, base, flyer etc.Theres a lot to learn in so little time is it possible??????

I think you can still join. But the only problem would be that since this school has a lot of awards they probably have higher expectations for the girls that try out. I suggest you work on tumbling ASAP and then i think that you are definitely ready

I know this sounds cheesy, but I genuinely believe that it's never too late to do anything. My friend, Kristen started cheer this year (she's a freshman) and she's already lost weight and become really flexible, so my advice would be just go for it:)
