HP Laptop - Windows 8 PROBLEM Please Help!!?
Hi everyone,
So, I have a HP notebook with Windows 8. I've had it about a year now. Last week I dropped it by a complete accident. It worked fine the last 5 days but today when I switch it on the first thing that comes up is "Preparing Automatic Repair". After this the screen just goes blank and nothing happens. I left it on for about 3 hours and it as still the same. Anybody know what I can do to fix this!? Please help :) Thank you!

Did your computer come with an install disc? Does it have a recovery partition? If yes on the first, you might be able to repair Windows start up by starting up with your disc and choosing the repair computer option. I can't remember if you can access an HP recovery partition from here, but, really, I think not. If yes on the second, you may be able to access the recovery partition by starting up by holding down on some f key. Not sure which though on you machine. Implementing the recovery partition would restore your computer to factory fresh--which is way better than you are now.
