Confusion about bra size?!?
Hey guys! So i tried to measure my bra size at home today and the results I got were very confusing. I measured my band size (the area below your bust) and got 27 inches (69 centi) and for my bust I got 31 inches (79 centi). Now most sites I checked said that that would mean I was a size D. And I can tell you right now that I most definitely am not a D. If I were to guess I would say a B or C would be more likely. So im really confused. Any advice or anything you guys can give me will be appreciated greatly! thanks in advance!

Don't be shocked by the cup or letter size. A letter like D doesn't mean anything except that your bust is 4 inches larger than your band. So even if you think you're A or B or whatever a D will probably fit best if you've measured right. Go to a store and try some bras on. If the cup seems too big, try a C. Hope I helped. :D CHECK OUT: https://youtube.com/watch?v=cWhJzAwBnEM

Provided that you measured without pulling the tape tight, your bra would be a 32D (27+5). This would be for a comfortable and supportive fit. By all means get yourself sized (someone else taking the measurements is always more accurate) to be sure.

When most women think D they think HUGE. But that is not always the case. Most women wear the wrong size bra and this is one reason why this occurs. I am personally a 32DDD and I do not look like I have a watermelon chest. The way your chest looks depends on your height and your weight.
If you are unsure you should go to a department store and be fitted.

I would say for you to go to Victoria's Secret and get measured (If you live by one). That's where I've been going since I was 14 and now I'm 19! As I'm growing, I get remeasured and the employees also help you out to get the perfect bra for you!
Seriously consider this for a perfect fit.
P.S. Their Pink brand has really cute mix and match sets and they are always having sales.
I hope that helps! (:
