So what is your question? You haven't asked one.
What your potential trainer said is true. How can he discuss your training when he hasn't even seen you? How can he evaluate your skills and fitness level so that you can proceed?

That sounds like a very reasonable assessment of what needs to be done in order to have a business meeting with your parents about the training you will receive from him.
