Chemistry help PLEASE! :)?

For a .20M solution of CoCl2, 100% dissociation, what is the concentration of particles?

    The 100% dissociation looks like this:

    CoCl2 → Co{2+} + 2 Cl{-}

    So there are three particles for every molecule of CoCl2.

    (0.20 mol/L CoCl2) x (3 mol particles / 1 mol CoCl2) = 0.60 mol/L particles

    [This calculation ignores the "particles" consisting of water molecules and the ions water makes.]
