Problem with my laptop? Does anyone know?
I have a toshiba laptop thats a few years old. My son tried to install one of his older games on it he got it downloaded and was playing it for a little bit turned it off came back to play it and we got a blue screen that said something about a memory card or something. We can start the computer but when we click on something that screen comes up. Does anyone know what is wrong and will it make me loose all my pics and files i have on my computer? Thanks

You should always back up all important files and pictures to external media on a regular schedule so not to lose in case a operating system crashes or you get the BSOD or a hard drive fails.
Most likely the laptops system does not meet the games system requirements causing the problems.
Try going into safe mode by repeatedly pressing F8 or F12 depending on the model and OS chose safe mode and uninstall the game then back up your files and then restart laptop.
Do you have or did you create the operating system recovery disc set or DVD for the laptop ?
Post complete model umber as listed on sticker on bottom of laptop as well as version of Windows it is running when asking for help.

I would say it was a virus since he was able to play it and when he turned it off that is usually what causes the virus to take affect. I would recommend sending to a local computer shop. They should be able to recover the files.
