have you ever voted your own answer as best?

I asked a similar question not too long ago, when I discovered that I could vote for myself. I also stated my concern that it feels like cheating. But, I have voted for my own answer a few times, mostly because I felt like my answer was the best answer. I always read all the answers first.

I have also passed up my own answer for one I thought was better.

I really try to be objective and fair.

No, its not cheating.Yahoo allows it to everyone.If every answerer is allowed to vote for himself then if he doesn't do that, then he's just not willing to use his own rights.

No, you don't lose 100 points.You actually gain 1 point for voting, and ten points if your voting works.

yea all the time. more chance of winning. and yahoo does not take 100 points off you for voting your own.

Of course I have; if a question goes to voting and no one else is voting, I vote for my answer. There is nothing illegal about it.

lol i thought i was the only one who knew about it.... Yes i do but the odd thing is like a day or two later one of my questions or answers get reported so i lose those ten points i gained... :(
