    In Blair's case, certainly.

    Bush was just too dumb.

Blair isn't part of the US Republican Party, and *some* (albeit very few) Republicans voted against invading Iraq, so no

    @Andre

Yeah, I remember it was less then 10 or so. The point is that the Republican Party as a unit was not united on Iraq, so I don't think it's fair to criticize the whole group when some members tried to stop it. Feel free to talk about Rumsfeld and Cheney, individual members, but some Republicans did try to stop the war. Uphill battle for them, I afraid, but they tried.

Hey Luke, we're not dumb here. You don't have to talk in secret code in Yahoo Answers to let command central know that you are still an obedient and loyal socialist. Keep it up and you may get you may get promote up to comrade Lenin's list of 'useful idiots.'

You know that's what Lenin called people who were easily convinced to take up the socialist mantra. Useful idiots. They'll say and do things to support socialism even though they end up showing they are really just what Lenin said they were.

If you'd checked facts before this question you'd have found out the number of millionaire democrats in US congress & senate. You could have compared that number to millionaire republicans in the US congress and senate and probably been able to figure out that you'd be looking real stupid and suffer a credibility black hole event if you chanted the mantra about republicans and the evil of money...when the democrats are the richer ones....

I don't guess you probably believe all the super rich people who support socialism are doing it out of the goodness of their hearts, don't you? I mean according to the socialism useful idiots believe in, all the rich people will have their money taken away... and you will get your fair share of it....

If you believe that, then Lenin is right. You are a useful idiot. And a gullible one.

I'm not taking sides in a political issue in a religious Q&A category. I'm taking a stand for GETTING YOUR FACTS RIGHT BEFORE YOU SAY STUPID STUFF.

I have never seen a country more against its own leaders than this one is. It is like on this hate trip when it comes to our government and our leaders who we have elected. How is this country going to survive when none of us like each other anymore? And if the love for money is the root of all evil and that is what is saving our children in hospitals and researching new methods to cure old problems then perhaps it is time to reconsider what it is we think is evil.

“Bush and bin Laden are really on the same side: the side of faith and violence against the side of reason and discussion. Both have implacable faith that they are right and the other is evil. Each believes that when he dies he is going to heaven. Each believes that if he could kill the other, his path to paradise in the next world would be even swifter. The delusional "next world" is welcome to both of them. This world would be a much better place without either of them. ”

    ― Richard Dawkins

PS @See You At The Show, 126 Dems in the House voted against the Iraq war, while only 82 were for it, while 215 GOpers were for war, with only 6 being against.

The meaning of the quote you are referring to is "The want (the lack of) money is the root of all evil"

    Also, change "is" to "are".

    The answer is no.

No one thing is the root of all anything. The world is not as simple as the fables of religions suppose.

Whether atheist or theist it is better to look at yourself than what others are doing. It is very easy to demonize others. What is your relationship to money?

No, love of religion is the root of all evil. Jesus was anti religion.
