    Since you don't identify the specific question, no-one can be certain why.

    But it'd be a reasonable guess that your style of answering has something to do with it ... and anyone who knows the rules here would report that kind of thing as a non-answer.

    Q: <chemical details snipped>

    I need help determining the number of moles of water lost, the final mass of anhydrous copper (II) sulfate, and the number of moles of anhydrous copper(II) sulfate

    A: We never did moles in chemistry , teacher was busy exploding water with sodium !

    Miners used to make waistcoats from moles skins , but I like to think their little molehill's are perfect for planting small trees in !

    Whether this is true I am not sure as I believe they eat worms not tree roots* !

    Source(s):

    *lumberjacks or lumberjerx of the old Redwoods discovered according to National Geographic that leaving a giant redwood to die naturally one got more wood than if you cut them down when young !

    Duh ! Science of common sense not greed .

    If just deleted, the question was a violation. If you got a violation and you want to know the reason for the violation, post "Why was this question (answer) a violation?" and add the original e-mail you get (within 24 hours), the question, and any added details you remember so the users can see the exact context. The experienced users here will explain it to you. There is no statute of limitations on breaking the YA rules.
