Guys- what does it mean when you call a girl cute?

This guy said he likes me fancies me etc. I rang him the other day to say "I like you" and when I did he said "awww your so cute" and I started giggling and felt shy lol

He ignored me for a few days then today I get a text from him saying he's been ill and he hasn't slept for a week and feels like crap. I'm worried about him:( I said I'm always here for you and everything. He said "aww your cute" with a X 😳 Lol but he hasn't replied to my messages I said what are you worrying about Mr(his last name) he likes it when I call him that!!!!! I haven't met him yet but we are supposed to meet this week. We've been chatting for 2 months now. I think it's definitely time to meet and I have a good feeling about him.

I'm 19. He's 26.

I just feel like he's not that eager like before he said he wanted to go out with me and that I was his girl but I wasn't ready to meet so soon and I wasn't that eager because I just came out of this thing with this guy who really hurt me. I do get busy with family and college too.
