NFL running out the clock?

Do I have it figured right that you could burn almost 20 minutes if you started at your 1 yard line and ran the minimum to make 1 st downs all the way down to opponents 1 yard line?

Update:

TY leg. The point was curiosity. They always talk about keeping your defense resting on the sidelines and also with a lead, just running out the clock. So, in theory, the team that is behind could receive the 2nd half kickoff, run approx. 4 mins, punt to the "coffin corner", ( 1 yard line) and the leading team could just run out the clock.

If you are just calculating 2.5 yards a play (39 plays) and 40 seconds, then you can get more than 25 minutes, but what's the point?
