do YOU believe groundhog predictions about spring?
Why does media try to pretend that the public is actually interested in whether or not the groundhog saw its shadow? I do not know anybody who ever puts weight on this particular superstition/folklore.

I believe the groundhog a lot more than I believe Obama & his minions.

Groundhog Day is just a happy event to break up the monotony of many cold, gray winters. It's about having fun, and it's not about the scientific capabilities of groundhogs.
The news story I read about the "groundhog's predictions" said that the groundhog doesn't predict anything. The "forecast" that is supposedly made by the groundhog is actually decided by an inner circle of people who are involved with the Groundhog Day festivities.
Did I ever believe in groundhog superstition? How could I say? I've never been able to keep straight what they say about that damned shadow. It's so confusing! Hahahahahahaha...

It's a fun tradition many Americans enjoy.
(Statistics show the groundhog's predictions to be wrong more often than accurate.)

No, it's just a stupid trumped-up myth. Like Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny. It's all made up.
