Do you think Oscar Pistorius has gotten away with murder?
From reading his history of temper tantrums and domestic abuse, along with following the story & facts from day one, I believe - like most in his country, that he will walk free. I was appalled to read that S. Africa is #8 in domestic violence against women. I fear she will be another name on a list of such victims.
Again, my belief is that fame/connections, money and good defense beats the system.
5 AnswersOther - News & Events7 years agoDo YQ&As apply the same rules in all countries? Just wondering how a "rant" (question) with vile language is permitted to "post", but a?
benign anwer spoken in "peace" can be reported as "abuse". I mistakenly answered a "Canadian" Yahoo user, griping about the Obama administration, with a generic answer, that, of course, did not "agree" with his rude, disrespectful question.
(I am not here to make "points", so that is not the reason for my question) Just sayin', it seems strange.
5 AnswersYahoo Answers7 years agoYour opinions please on the missing plane...?
I still find it hard to believe that a plane of its size with that many passengers (and cell phones), could just disappear without a trace of evidence...no oil, no communication, no debris of any kind, etc.
I wonder if we'll ever know the true story.
13 AnswersCurrent Events7 years agoOscar Pistorius, guilty or innocent and what do you think the verdict or sentence will be?
Although public sentiment is with him in his hometown, I tend to believe he's guilty. I'm betting he'll get probation...what do you think?
11 AnswersCurrent Events7 years agoRegarding the "afterlife", what are your thoughts on life after death?
by many people who report their "journeys into the afterlife" experiences documented in books & reports, like the one Dr. Eben Alexander (neurosurgeon) wrote and the 4 yr. old boy's experience - now a movie called "Heaven Is For Real".
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoGuys...you're opinion of a "cool" looking car with more ground clearance than 5 1/2".?
I've been driving an Elantra since 2011 and still have trouble clearing curbs, etc. (I'm 5') Am looking for that kind of look, only sitting higher.
2 AnswersBuying & Selling7 years agoCat owners please: What should I look for when finding a fairly sociable cat?
Never had one and would like to have one for a pet. (how do you distinguish a "loner" from one more affectionate? Thank you.
4 AnswersCats7 years agoI see GZ continues making news...I'd sure like to know what's up with him?
Originally, I felt sympathy, now I'm beginning to wonder if he really has anger issues, OR if he's stressed from his past ordeal along with being stalked by media?
In any case, he's not doing himself any good by continuing with police confrontations & poor behavior.
What's your take?....
4 AnswersMedia & Journalism7 years agoSomeone explain "simply", the reason for drastic change in gasoline prices that happen over night?
Two days ago I paid $3.09/gal. This morning, it's $3.37/gal. How can it flucuate so much...is there really a legitamate reason?

2 AnswersCurrent Events7 years agoPlanning trip to MX ~ San Miguel, Veracruz, Guadalajara or MX df?
Attended language school in Queretaro and loved it! This time would like to visit a different area that's relatively safe...what are your suggestions for those who have travelled there? (I prefer cities to rural or beach tourist areas) Thank you for any recommendations. (I plan on going January 2014)
1 AnswerOther - Mexico8 years agoHow did the govnm't got bids, approvals, and have signs made & posted in less than 8 hr?
I'm starting to think this shutdown was planned months ago. It takes getting a contract, bids, materials, logos & specifications weeks in advance for approval and for making & posting signs. There were tens of thousands 3 X 4 signs posted across the country less than 8 hrs. (haven't had a shut down in l7 yrs, I believe).
2 AnswersGovernment8 years agoFor those seniors who are happily married for the second or third time, how did you meet your partner?
Had any of you almost "given up" on meeting anyone? If you'd like to give your age, I'm interested. If not, thank you for sharing your stories.
(trying to remain hopeful!)
8 AnswersSenior Citizens8 years agoTo those who don't believe in a God, where do you think we go after death?
I'm curious to evolutionists thoughts or beliefs on where our "energy" (body, soul and spirit) goes after death.
Seriously, if you believe we "evolved" from a rock or mass of goo, do you believe that's what we return to?

4 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoCalling Mexico-Pls Advise...Looking for a relatively safe city for finding a "summer"?
home, apt. getaway. (Excluding border towns and tourist beach resorts)
I loved Queretaro...any other suggestions as to where to look? I've lived in FL most of my life, and want to escape the l00 deg temps and continuous summer rains.

3 AnswersOther - Mexico8 years agoDoes anyone really know how "safe" the airport scanners are?
They told me "they're safe" and NOT x-rays, but radio waves...what's the effects and difference. Since I don't quite trust being told they're safe, I'm thinking of opting to a "pat down" instead.
