Do you think Oscar Pistorius has gotten away with murder?
From reading his history of temper tantrums and domestic abuse, along with following the story & facts from day one, I believe - like most in his country, that he will walk free. I was appalled to read that S. Africa is #8 in domestic violence against women. I fear she will be another name on a list of such victims.
Again, my belief is that fame/connections, money and good defense beats the system.

The evidence is fairly compelling and the prosecutor did a good job....I doubt he will not be found guilty..... but I understand you pessimism
one of the inherent problems with many celebrities is the opinion that the rules do not apply to them.... sort of the "OJ Syndrome"

Well the trial continues so he hasn't "gotten away" with anything yet. As for his guilt, based on everything I have heard so far and I might add that is every single minute of what's been recorded in the courtroom thus far, I have satisfied myself that the shooting and murder was the result of a momentary fit of rage. I believe Reeva ran into the toilet and locked herself in because she was scared of Pistorius' outburst, and in the heat of the moment, a rage-filled Oscar Pistorius 'lost it' and fired angrily into the door.
At the moment it is hard to guage exactly in which direction the court is leaning, but I would hope that I am not the only observer who feels the State has made the case.

Well of course he is guilty of shooting her. The court has to try and decide if he is telling the truth when he claims it was an accident as he thought an intruder was in the bathroom and he shot blindly.
I think the first moral of this is thats what happens when you have a loaded gun so close to hand ! I dont.
We know things can seem strange when we are waken in the night. There isnt a jury, just the judge. How can we know what she has decided ?

His constant appeal to the Virgin Mary suggests a man guilty in the eyes of God, unable to seek forgiveness from Christ and so desperate to appeal to the Virgin Mary. Is this a man who had an accident or a man guilty of murder?
