I just replaced my desktop keyboard as key "id" wearing out...?

-And I bought a cheap, wireless USB Gear Head keyboard at OD, hooked it up, and since yesterday? Getting funny messages like "connection refused" or "page can't be displayed" off and on, even though I can connect to Yahoo eventually...Not sure it's the keyboard but could it be a compatibility issue? Did I go too cheap here? (was only about $12.00!)

Update:

Dick, did you read my problem? I thank you for the advice on a new keyboard, but I'm really asking if such a cheap keyboard and changing it out CAN ACCOUNT for sudden incompatibility!

In my opinion one of the absolute best, reliable, inexpensive keyboards it the Dell keyboard that sells for about $20. It types well and is very reliable.

If it gets dirty simply remove 11 small screws on the back side of it and open it up. It has two layers of printed circuitry that simply lay on one another and a "rubberized" button system that provides resistance to the keys and return them upright once pushed. The top half of the keyboard is dishwasher safe on the top rack to clean it. I simply lay mine flat, key faces down facing the spray, and give it a short cycle.

Nice little keyboard!!! Look at it on Dell.com

    Here's the one I have:

This one is wireless and comes with a mouse:

Oh, and I type in the realm of 50+ words a minute so it's good for a typist also!

    Hope this helps.
