No it does not. The standard God set in Eden with the first marriage was that of monogamy. Jesus Christ later reaffirmed that standard for his followers. Matthew 19:4-6 he says: "In reply he said: “Did you not read that he who created them from [the] beginning made them male and female and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and his mother and will stick to his wife, and the two will be one flesh’? So that they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has yoked together let no man put apart."
Yet, we may discern some practical reasons why he tolerated polygamy for a time. Remember that in Eden, Jehovah promised a “seed” who would ultimately destroy Satan. Later, Abraham was told that he would father a great nation and that the foretold Seed would come from his family line. (Genesis 22:18 "And by means of your seed all nations of the earth will certainly bless themselves due to the fact that you have listened to my voice.") Satan was determined to prevent that Seed from arriving. He was thus bent on destroying that ancient nation of Israel. He often seduced Israel into sin so that the nation would lose God’s favor and protection.
God’s temporary toleration of polygamy had other advantages. It helped the nation to grow rapidly. The larger population helped to ensure the nation’s survival until the time of the Messiah. Polygamy may also have provided a measure of protection for some women, giving them shelter and a household in dangerous times. Keep in mind, though, that Jehovah did not originate this practice. He tolerated it for a limited time, while strictly regulating it to prevent abuses.

Yes. The Bible God specifically addresses such a situation in at least one verse. So what does He say? Does He condemn the practice? Does He forbid it? NO! Instead He says "If a man have more than one wife", he must not treat one wife better than the other. That's it. That is the extent of His commentary on plural marriage. He does NOT say, "If a man have more than one wife, he is sinning. He must leave his second wife and cleave only to his first." Note that He does NOT SAY THAT! An absence of condemnation, when He is addressing the subject and has a golden opportunity to condemn it, is the same as endorsing it...

It is hard to make a case for either plural husbands nor plural wives in 2014. Eithers leave a group of worthy humans without a mate. Adultry and fornication are unfair to the children.

God expects one man to have one wife and one woman to have one husband. No exceptons! God said, he does not chnage. As far as I know the bible does not teach that if a woman has more than one husband, she is a prostitute. God teaches that he hates divorce. When anyone gets married, as long as thay are male and female, they are to be together for the rest of their life. That's why marriage is auch a serious thing to God.

the simple answer is YES (but, only if God commands it, and its not to be confused with multiple girlfreinds). or sequential adultery
this is my favorite verse:
Matt. 19: 5, 29
5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall acleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
• • •
29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
i.e. notice that if a man receives a hundredfold of everything lost or forsaken, it is given to him to have at least a more wives than the one he lost or forsook.
i.e. that also pales the promise of muslim terrorists.
they only get 72 (LOL)
however in many places it does say a man shall have only one wife. both a bishop and a deacon.
1 Tim. 3: 2, 12
2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, ...
12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife
Titus 1: 6
6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife...
but remember even the nuns still claim an old tradition of being the literal brides of christ. thus proving that multiple marriages were thought to be holy.
but if you ask a mormon. where modern polygam and plural marriage sprouted up in North america, it is written very specifically:
Jacob 2: 27
27 Wherefore, my brethren, hear me, and hearken to the word of the Lord: For there shall not any man among you have save it be bone wife; and concubines he shall have none;

No. While people at times have done this, the Bible is more one man, one woman.
