What happens if I take my SIM card out of my note 2?

I am with AT&T and I am being shipped a new phone due to my phone being damaged. I am not sure if my contacts and stuff is saved to my phone or sim card. If I take it out I understand I cannot call or text but once I take it out will it work if I put it back in or will I have to call customer service to activate my phone?

In.. and out… in … and out… lmfao… sory, sick mind today

Anyways… It will no matter how many times your go in and out…..all activation did was turn the sim card “on”. That’s all. …… your sim card will stay on until you get disconnected for non-pay, upgrade to a new phone and new sim card, your cancel service, or your phone blows up like in the next Michael Bay action thriller! LMAO!

Contact can be saved both on the phone and on sim card also depends how you selected when you saved it. There is no problem if you remove the sim and then put it back in will still work, and that way can verify if the contacts are saved on the sim card or on the phone. All the other stuff like picture, and all otehr data are saved on your phone not on the sim card
