Do you know of any current bands that play music like the Outlaws, Allman Brothers,...?
....Marshall Tucker Band, older style rock like that, but by newer bands. I know a guy that keeps saying things like, "Music died after that"' and "No one can play like that anymore", etc.,etc. I'd like to prove him wrong if I can, and I figured this is a good spot to ask while I look around for myself.

Gonna save you some aggravation. There is no proving him wrong. People like that are basically unswayed by any evidence you can come up with. Kind of like creationists and climate change deniers.
