I am not able to connect to Airtel 3G on Xiaomi MI2s?
Android version: 4.1.1
MIUI Versio: MIUI- JLB27.0
I had to go through hoops and bounds to get this fone and when its finally here, i am not ble to connect to Airtel 3G or 2G or even access internet on the fone. I am able to connect to the WIFI and access internet but not through 2G or 3G. I spoke to airtel, they said they do not have setting specific to this model, hence i asked them to send em the settings for samsung, i tried and tried, but nothing.
Any help on this is appreciated

GO Setting --> Wireless and Network --> More... -> Mobile Networks --> Access Point
click on Menu button: New APN
Name : Airtel
APN : AirtelLive
Proxy : 010.200.184.086
Port : 8080
MCC : 413
MNC : 05
Authentication Type : None
APN Type : default,supl or Internet (try one by one)
Other Category is Leave empty
Save Setting
Go Menu- -> Save

there is a software bug on lollipop android version of xiaomi which prevents you from doing that.... I had a good opinion on xiaomi until now... need to root...
