Will any 3.5 mm earbuds work with my Nook Reader?

Generally speaking any 3.5mm jack plug speaker or headphone should work with the Nook. There are some proprietary ones out there by the game hardware manufactures which qualify as 3.5mm but they usually don't work as such but then they also cost more than some better brands of headphones, I just say this so that you know to avoid buying them.
