What is called when believers need others to believe?

As to the exact word to describe why believers need others to believe, I do not know.

It MIGHT be related to the way we evolved as social beings, and the need for all the members of the group to play by the same rules.

The closest thing I can think of that meets your criteria is psychological projection:

Or just "projection" for short.

They are reasonably very insecure in their beliefs.

So they insist you believe it too, but reject it, like food you don't like.

Food you don't like is still food.

What christians spew isn't real anything, just desperation to avoid reality.

They are so frightened, so tiny, it is hard not to feel sorry for most of them.

They just do not want to say the word condemned is equal to unbelief. Because the very people they are witnessing to are family members and friends, who we love, and pray that they repent before they go down to Hell with Satan and his demonic entourage or murderers and rapists and deviants. Hitler and Idi Amin included.

That's the dumbest assumption I've ever heard. Maybe they say those things because you make it seem that way

There seems to be a lot of non-believers needing others to not believe.

Insecurity - they need to have their beliefs validated.
