Every freaking time i want to start my pc...?
Hi,
I installed Windows 8 recently (a really stupid mistake -_-) I have windows 7 too (DUAL BOOT)
And it was all good until... I forgot my windows 7 password i looked on YouTube and Google.
And I finally found an answer to my problem "Hirens Boot" I saw it and wanted to test it...
And then i got to the boot menu and selected my CD and all that stuff but when I pressed enter on the CD in the boot menu (And yes i selected the CD 100% Sure) it started Windows 8 WTF?!
So I figured that if i delete Windows 8 it will run "Hirens Boot" on CD ,I Deleted Windows 8 but... When I was running "Hirens Boot" in the Boot Menu a window popped up with this:
"Recovery
Your PC needs to be repaired.
A required device isn't connected or can't be accessed.
Error code: 0x000000f
You'll need to use recovery tools on your installation media. if you don't have any installation media (like disc or USB device),
contact your system administrator or your PC manufacturer
Press Enter to try again.
Press F8 for Startup Settings
Press F9 to use a diffrent operating system"

Bad move. You don't need Hiren's BootCD if your Windows 8 loads and allows you to access your Windows 7 partition. All you need to do is use the 'Sticky Keys' method to remove the password for a certain user account on Windows 7.
http://4sysops.com/archives/three-ways-to-reset-a-...
You simply need to open File Explorer on Windows 8 and go to the Windows 7 partition. Under Windows\System32 folder find and rename SETHC.EXE or the SETHC to something like SETHC-Copy or anything you like. Find CMD from the same folder and click on it once. Press Ctrl C and then Ctrl V to create a duplicate copy. Rename the copied file named cmd - Copy to SETHC. Restart the computer and boot to Windows 7. From the Windows 7 log in screen tap the Shift key at least 5 times to display the Administrator Command Prompt (CMD). At the Command Prompt window type:
net user loginid *
The loginid is the user account's name that is locked. No need to supply a new password. Just press Enter key twice to erase the current password. Done, the password to that account is gone!
Now having said all of the above and since you've already removed or ruined your Windows 8 OS then your option is to go back to using Hiren's BootCD. However, I have a feeling that you didn't transfer the contents of the ISO to the CD properly that's why it isn't booting and instead goes back to booting from your hard drive. If you got the Hiren's BootCD zipped file from this site,
http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/
the zipped file contains a small program called Burn2CD when you extract all the zipped file's contents to a temporary folder. Run that to make a bootable disc. You may also right click on the ISO when you are in Windows 7 or 8 and then select 'Open with Windows Disc Image Burner' instead of using the Burn2CD program if you like.
Now as far as using the Hiren's BootCD to remove/change a Windows password, read this:

Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. The only way to reset your windows password 100% safe is to use a software called Reset Password Pro.
The software allows you to create a boot-disk, that can be made on a CD/DVD or USB stick. The boot-disk can then be inserted into any locked machine, and it's a simple case of pressing reset. Here is their official site: http://www.resetwindowspass.com/
