What are some good books to read?

Hi, I'm looking for good books to read. Preferably books that have ALREADY been made into movies, because I like reading the books and then watching the movies. Anything similar to "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower" would be great. It can be recent or old, that doesn't matter. Thanks to whoever answers. :)

I like to do that as well. Even though it can be extremely aggravating. Movies sometimes take a title and make a movie with little resemblance to the book. World War Z being a perfect example. On the other hand, the Lord Of The Rings was close to the book.
Since you want a suggestion, I'll go with "To Kill A Mockingbird". It's a fantastic read and a terrific movie.

Any Stephen King books - not the Dark Tower, there are no films on them, but more like The Shining. Room can't remember the full name...lol...The Mist etc etc great films...
