Feeling Nostalgic, but wasn't alive then?
In advance, sorry for the length!
Okay, so I'm 13 years old, and in the past few months, have gotten into the 80s. Everything about the 80s, in fact. I have completely ignored everything music, fashion, etc., from 1990-present. My mom wasn't aware of anything that happened in the 80s— she was born in 1978; My dad was born in 1968, but he passed away. Sadly, he would've been my guy to talk about this stuff with...
Anyway, I am feeling really nostalgic about the 80s. One day last week, I spent half of the day trying to figure out if there was any possible way to time travel! Also, I keep looking up pictures of Bon Jovi, Europe, and Bryan Adams from the 80s, and I save the images and use the as screen savers and use them on Muzy, Flipagram, and PicCollage.
In conclusion, I was wondering if anybody else about my age is going through something like this, or if there is any scientific term for this?

Believe me your not alone! So many people including myself would give anything to jump in a time machine and go back to a different era. For me it's the Victorian era with the long gowns and horse drawn carriages. For some it's the roaring 20's or the 50's. The 80's had the nicest clothes of all the modern eras. Really beautiful and unique looks. I don't blame you at all for feeling the way you do. The Portuguese have a word for this, "solvagis". It mean to long for another place and time without really understanding why. Don't know if there is a scientific term for it though.

I feel ya. I'm 15 and I want to live in the 50s so badly. Idk why but I loooove it so much. The dresses. The houses. The cars. Things were so different and I wish I could experience those days without all these electronics.
