What's up with Yahoo mail?

Question

copying somebody else's perfect description: 
"Yahoo mail account opens but individual emails do not open; Win7 OS, across multiple computers; what's up?

I can see the individual emails in the account, but clicking on any one will not open it; this is new this evening, I could access individual emails earlier in the day. Is there maintenance going on or what?

I saw a Yahoo press release that stated that the problem was solved at 1:18pm (time zone???), but I still cannot open my emails either.  It's been down for most of the day for me.

I am having the same problem.  It's 7:09 Central time, here.  On my mail home page the action line "reply arrow, reply all arrow, forward arrow, delete, etc. is missing.
More info:  I can't get into my mail settings.  When I double click on a mail entry I get a message in the lower right corner of the home screen "Taking too long?  Load Basic Mail".  I click on it and get basic mail which is sorted in ascending order by date, except it starts with you January email and goes to February, so that you latest mail is lower down.  If you change to Date descending  you get the earliest mail you have in your inbox.
